Jordan. Blind Syrian Musician teaches youth in Azraq Refugee Camp.
Syrian refugee Ehsan Al Khalili, 45, his wife Rabab and three of their childreneat lunch inside their shelter in Jordan’s Azraq refugee camp, home to 35,000 Syrian refugees. After losing his sight in a childhood accident in the Syrian capital Damascus, Ehsan became a self-taught professional musician. He now teaches music to children in the camp, including those with disabilities, which he says has allowed him to give something back to his community.
